Who we are
This website is run by Contact Point Podcast, hosted by Dr Simon Chard, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, email simon@drsimonchard.com.
What we collect on this website
Our home page has two forms. The speaking enquiry form collects your name, email, organisation, event details, audience, brief, budget if you give one, and how you heard about us. The guest application form collects your name, email, phone if you give one, practice or company, role, website or social links, a short bio, the topic you'd bring, and how you heard about the show. Submissions are held by Netlify, our hosting provider, sent to our team at admin@drsimonchard.com, and used only to reply to you. The site has no accounts or comments. The newsletter, community and sponsorship buttons open your own email app, so you choose what to send us.
If you email us or send an enquiry
We use your name, email address and anything you include to reply, to add you to our mailing list if you asked us to, or to talk about sponsorship or the community. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent or our legitimate interest in replying to you. We keep emails only as long as we need them and never sell your details. You can ask us to stop contacting you or to delete your details at any time.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Other websites
Links to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms take you to sites with their own privacy policies. Episode thumbnails are served from this website, not from those platforms.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to object to how we use it. Email us to make a request. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
